She’s a former professional wrestler. Probably best you don’t say much more.

I think they’re underutilizing the Muppets. (that’s probably never been said)

The Flying Monkeys always scared me.

This sketch is more entertaining than most of the nominated movies.

        Not that I’ve seen them.

Between the flying monkeys and the sleestacks, it is a surprise I ever slept as a child.

how about that giant spider from Gilligan’s Island? That screwed up a Ginger/Maryanne wet dream or two.

I got over it once LL Cool J sampled them.

Oooh, I think “Dragon Tattoo” just got it’s token award. That means someone other than Rony Mara will win best actress.

        Rooney…Rooney. As in Art Rooney.

      • JasonP 8:43 pm on February 26, 2012 Permalink | Reply

Pretty sure that was the biggest lock bet of the awards

Never saw that movie. :truestory: I’d have voted for the funny chick from Bridesmaids.

The 20 seconds of Bridesmaid spoof from Billy’s opening made me pretty glad I missed that one.

Me too. But “The Help” is this years “Crash”, and there’s no way it’s not winning something to temporarily assuage Hollywood’s guilt. About what I don’t know.

          • Heberble 8:47 pm on February 26, 2012 Permalink | Reply

Who had 9:16 in the poll? First use of ‘assuage” and references to Hollywood’s guilt. There’s the winner.

            • Mike D. 8:48 pm on February 26, 2012 Permalink

Be right back. Going to look up ‘assuage”

I almost said it when the Iranian film won foreign movie. Hmmmmmmmm… coincidence?

I had no idea “Bridesmaids” was nominated. I think it’s the only film up for a biggish award I’ve seen. Harry Potter, I guess counts.

I just realized that this show is Hollywood sitting in front of a mirror saying, “I’m good enough…I’m smart enough…and doggone it, people like me.

Yes! However, Billy seems to be having fun anyway. Unlike a certain James Franco last year.
